Tocopherol acetate is an oil-soluble antioxidant that helps reduce skin irritations, reduce the formation and damage of free radicals, and slows the aging process of the skin [2]. Bisabolol has pronounced anti-inflammatory, soothing and skin-strengthening properties [3]. Due to the high concentration of active ingredients, this product will become an integral part of your lip skin care. Argan oil nourishes the skin and has antioxidant properties, and is also rich in vitamin E and fatty acids [4]. Almond oil has a soothing effect [5], while borage seed oil gives the skin a soft feeling [6].

    Scientific validity

Vitamin Einhibits the enzyme tyrosinase and melanogenesis in melanocytes, making it a powerful antioxidant. This ingredient inhibits melanocyte membrane lipid peroxidation and increases intracellular glutathione levels [2]. As a result, vitamin E is presentsuitable for pigmentation.

Squalaneis an occlusive molecule that strengthens the skin's barrier function and helps the skin maintain its own moisture level (hydration) by regulating sebum secretion, and human sebum contains as much as 13% squalene [7].

In vitro experimental studies show thatsqualaneis a very effective reactive oxygen species neutralizing agent. After oxidative stress, such as exposure to sunlight, squalane acts as an effective "trap" of such oxygen and prevents lipid peroxidation on the surface of human skin [8]. Because of this, squalane iseffective in reducing skin irritations, caused by lipid peroxidation.

in argan oilare high in unsaturated fatty acids such as linoleic acid. It helps protect the skin from moisture loss and strengthens the skin's elasticity. In addition, it is said to have anti-inflammatory properties, so it is also often used for scaly, dry, irritated skin. In addition, argan oil is rich in antioxidants such as vitamin E [4].

Almond oilis a fatty vegetable oil obtained from almond seeds by cold pressing. The major fatty acids are oleic acid (60-90%) and linoleic acid (about 20%). This oil has a soothing effect and makes the skin soft [5].

    Active ingredients

    Squalane (INCI: SQUALANE)

The branched, clear, colorless and odorless oil is used as a component of emulsions, pastes and other preparations. It can be derived from olive oil or it can be synthetically produced. Has a skin smoothing effect and is used as a solvent for fat-soluble active substances [9].

    Tocopherol acetate (INCI: TOCOPHERYL ACETATE)

Tocopheryl acetate is part of provitamins. It is a vitamin E derivative that is converted to vitamin E in the body. Tocopheryl acetate is an oily, odorless, water-insoluble liquid. The provitamin itself does not show any antioxidant effect until it is converted to vitamin E in the skin. Vitamin E is one of the fat-soluble vitamins. It strengthens cell protection and also supports skin regeneration. Thanks to its lipophilic properties, it protects cell membranes and skin cells from so-called free radicals. Vitamin E also helps to improve the surface structure and increase the skin's ability to bind moisture. Vitamin E in the epidermis is the most important antioxidant for cell protection. It blocks aggressive compounds caused by UV radiation in the skin and thus prevents premature aging of the skin. In this way, it protects cell membranes, lipoproteins and fat stores from oxidation [10].

Argan oil (INCI: ARGANIA SPINOSA KERNEL OIL)

Argan oil is rich in unsaturated fatty acids such as linoleic acid. It helps protect the skin from moisture loss and strengthens the skin's elasticity. In addition, it is said to have anti-inflammatory properties, so it is also often used for scaly, dry, irritated skin. In addition, argan oil is rich in antioxidants such as vitamin E [4].

Almond oil (INCI: PRUNUS AMYGDALUS DULCIS OIL)

Almond oil is a fatty vegetable oil obtained from the seeds of almonds by cold pressing. The major fatty acids are oleic acid (60-90%) and linoleic acid (about 20%). This oil has a soothing effect and makes the skin soft [5].
