The moisturizing face mask is intended for dehydrated and gray, aging or irritated skin. Hyaluronic acid, due to its high biocompatibility with human skin, helps reduce wrinkles caused by premature aging, reduces skin irritations, promotes wound healing and moisturizes it [1]. Squalane is an occlusive molecule that strengthens the skin's barrier function and helps the skin maintain its own moisture level (hydration) by regulating sebum secretion [2]. Panthenol is an active ingredient that promotes epidermal regeneration and moisturizes the skin, promotes wound healing and is effective in contact and atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, eczema or other skin irritations [3]. Hydroxyethylurea (urea) has better skin moisturizing properties than glycerol and therefore helps restore the skin's proper moisture level [4]. Shea butter or shea butter helps reduce the signs of aging and prevent photoaging due to its ability to stimulate collagen production (synthesis) and absorb UVB radiation [5, 6]. Using this mask regularly will make your skin supple, hydrated and glowing.
Benefit:
We recommend using it in the morning, evening or as needed on a clean face. Spread a thin layer of the product (5-8 grams) evenly on the face and neck area and keep it for 15-20 minutes.
To achieve the best result, we recommend using the product as the second step of the procedure after washing the facial skin. If your skin is extremely dry or damaged, we recommend toning your skin with Moon/Cosmetics moisturizing facial toner before the mask.
Warnings: For external use only. Do not use if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to one of the ingredients. Avoid direct contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children.
AQUA, KAOLIN, PANTHENOL, BUTYROSPERMUM PARKII BUTTER, TRIHEPTANOIN, CETEARYL OLIVATE, HYDROXYETHYL UREA, GLYCERIN, ORYZA SATIVA BRAN CERA, PROPANEDIOL, SORBITAN OLIVATE, SQUALANE, SODIUM HYALURONATE, SCLEROTIUM GUM, XANTHAN GUM, CAPRYLYL GLYCOL, PHENYLPROPANOL.
1. Hyaluronic acid in the product, due to its high biocompatibility with human skin, helps reduce wrinkles caused by premature aging, reduces skin irritations, promotes wound healing and moisturizes it [1];
2. Squalane is an occlusive molecule that strengthens the skin's barrier function and helps the skin maintain its own moisture level (hydration) by regulating sebum secretion, and human sebum contains as much as 13% squalene [7].
3. In vitro experimental studies show that squalane is a very effective reactive oxygen species neutralizing agent. After oxidative stress, such as exposure to sunlight, squalane acts as an effective "trap" of such oxygen and prevents lipid peroxidation on the surface of human skin [8]. As a result, squalane is effective in reducing skin irritations caused by lipid peroxidation.
4. In an ex vivo study, it was found that squalane increases the permeation of polyphenolic compounds, which are also strong antioxidants, through the skin [9].
5. Panthenol is an active ingredient that promotes regeneration of the epidermis and moisturizes the skin, promotes wound healing and is effective in contact and atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, eczema or other skin irritations [4]. Panthenol is well absorbed into the skin and turns into pantothenic acid through oxidation. Pantothenic acid is converted into acetyl coenzyme-A (Acetyl CoA) in epidermal cells, which is involved in many skin biochemical mechanisms and supports the cell cycle [10].
6. The use of shea butter or shea butter in cosmetics began to grow strongly from 2011 and was widely used as an active ingredient in products intended for mature skin. Due to its high content of antioxidants, polyphenols and others, butter tree has UVB absorbing properties. In addition, shea butter promotes collagen production while inhibiting protease enzymes such as metalloprotease or serine protease [5, 6].
7. Hydroxyethylurea is a derivative of urea that moisturizes the skin without leaving a sticky feeling and increases the penetration of other active substances into the deeper layers of the skin [4].
Hyaluronic acid (INCI: SODIUM HYALURONATE)
Hyaluronic acid
acid occurs naturally in the human body and is important for various tissues,
component such as skin and connective tissue. Hyaluronic acid
ensures soft and smooth skin as it can bind water well. However, with
with age, the body produces significantly less hyaluronic acid. Because of this
the reason is that in old age the skin loses its elasticity and wrinkles form.
In order to prevent this process, hyaluronic acid is often used as a
an antiaging active ingredient in products such as eye creams,
skin and face creams, as well as facial masks. In these products
the job of hyaluronic acid is to retain moisture in the skin by binding water
in the upper layer of cells. In this way, visible skin can be softened
signs of aging [13].
Squalane (INCI:
SQUALANE)
Branched, clear, colorless and odorless oil is like
a component of emulsions, pastes and other preparations. It can be obtained from
olive oil or may be synthetically produced. Has a skin smoothing effect and is used as
solvent for fat-soluble active substances [11].
Panthenol
(INCI: PANTHENOL)
Panthenol
is a precursor of vitamin B, also called provitamin B5. It's sticky
a colorless, slightly sticky substance with a subtle characteristic odor.
Panthenol is easily soluble in water and alcohol. Provitamin is very good
tolerated by the skin, it has moisture-retaining, skin-smoothing and regenerating properties
properties. In addition, the material supports the protective barrier function of the skin and improves it
its elasticity. Panthenol is mostly used in cosmetic care
in products such as creams, lotions, lip care products, protections
sunscreen and hair care products. Hair
in care products, panthenol supports the renewal of the moisture balance and
hair strengthening. Panthenol yes
also perfect for sensitive skin products. Because panthenol supports the formation of new skin cells after
injuries, it is also used in medicated creams, such as healing
sunburns and minor injuries, which relieves redness of the skin
and reduces itching [12].
Shea tree
butter (INCI: BUTYROSPERMUM PARKII BUTTER)
Shea butter comes from shea fruit and shea nuts are extracted
fats can be used in many ways in cosmetics because of the valuable ingredients for the skin. In addition to unsaturated fatty acids, shea butter contains antioxidant vitamin E and allantoin. This active ingredient is high
quality skin care and
moisturizing agent, so it is especially suitable for the care of dry and very dry skin, it penetrates well into the skin and increases the penetration of other substances. Because of
ingredients such as allantoin, shea butter may also contain
used for irritated skin, accelerates the restoration of cell structure as well
new cell formation and cell regeneration processes in the skin [13].
Hydroxyethylurea
(INCI: HYDROXYETHYL UREA)
Hydroxyethylurea
is a derivative of urea and a good humectant that helps repair
proper moisture level and elasticity of the skin. This ingredient enhances the sensory
skin feel compared to glycerol or other moisturizers (humectants) and
can be used in skin care products without adding tackiness to the formula
