    Description

The combination of niacinamide (10%) and zinc PCA (1%) in this multi-functional serum serve multiple purposes such as acne, pigmentation, redness, and aging. Reducing transepidermal water loss and having anti-inflammatory properties are the two ways niacinamide (Vitamin B3) helps to increase skin moisture levels. Additionally, it increases the creation of significant epidermal proteins such as keratin, filaggrin, and involucrin [1-3]. Zinc PCA (L-pyrrolidone carboxylate zinc salt) has antifungal, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties that make it a perfect ingredient for conditions like acne or seborrheic dermatitis [4-6]. To reduce premature aging wrinkles, minimize skin irritations, promote wound healing, and moisturize the skin, the formula has hyaluronic acid, which has high biocompatibility with human skin [7]. This serum is suitable for all skin types and conditions, including acne, rosacea, pigmentation, or early signs of aging, leaving the skin hydrated and clear with regular use.

    Scientific validity

Melanosomes are vesicles that transport skin pigment from melanocytes to keratinocytes, and niacinamide can impede this transfer [8]. This property makes it an ideal ingredient for pigmented skin.

This powerful active ingredient has anti-inflammatory properties that suppress chemokines released during colonization by P. acne bacteria [2], making it a powerful active ingredient for acne-prone skin.

Moreover, niacinamide boosts epidermal protein synthesis and prevents glycation. Yellow skin occurs when glycation happens due to protein and sugar combining. By preventing glycation, niacinamide can prevent skin redness [9]. Skin damaged by rosacea, acne, dermatitis, or psoriasis can be improved by this ingredient [10].

Zinc PCA can prevent the formation of metalloproteinase-1, an enzyme that degrades collagen, induced by UVA, and can increase collagen production, making it a good ingredient to resist pigmentation and photoaging [11]. It is appropriate for treating skin conditions like seborrheic dermatitis or acne due to its antifungal, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties [4-6].

Combat premature aging, aid wound healing, soothe skin irritations, and hydrate skin with the highly biocompatible hyaluronic acid in the product [7].
