    Description

This cleansing micellar water is enriched with a xylitol complex (0.5%) and sodium PCA (1%) to effectively remove face and eye makeup, sunscreen with SPF, and other impurities. Vegan-certified micelles based on medium-length glyceride help nourish the skin and restore its comfort. The xylitol complex uses a 3D hydro concept designed to maintain moisture circulation in all skin layers, increase hyaluronic acid synthesis and reduce skin irritation and inflammation. The use of Sodium PCA makes for a better moisturizer compared to glycerol, helping to restore the skin's proper moisture balance. Additionally, the polysaccharide inulin found in this micellar water has prebiotic effects, which aid in slowing down transepidermal water loss and nurturing the skin's microbiota. By using this product regularly, you can obtain flawless, clear, and glowing skin. [1][2]

    Benefits:

    Scientific validity

This micellar water contains a vegan certified medium-length glyceride, which is a combination of glycerol and fatty acid ester. It forms micelles that help cleanse the skin, removing impurities, makeup, and even SPF sunscreen while also restoring skin comfort.

The xylitol complex is based on the 3d hydration hydroconcept, which helps to maintain moisture circulation in all skin layers, improve hyaluronic acid synthesis, and reduce skin irritation and inflammation.

A 2017 study found that longer use of xylitol and glycerol can increase water content not only in the epidermis but also in the dermis, resulting in improvements in the biomechanical parameters of the skin, such as skin density. This is due to the increased protein content in the skin, which is the result of xylitol and glycerol-induced synthesis of filaggrin.

The micellar water also contains the polysaccharide inulin, which has prebiotic properties that help improve skin microbiota and slow down transepidermal water loss (TEWL). Prebiotics promote the growth of beneficial bacteria that destroy acne-causing bacteria and maintain a healthy balance of the protective skin layer.

To ensure the ingredients work together effectively, sodium PCA is added to the formula to help moisturize the skin and maintain the proper moisture level. Sodium PCA is a component of the skin's natural moisturizing factor (NMF), which helps restore the skin's protective barrier.
